Introduction to Wafer Paper & Flowers

Wafer Paper provides your cake with that wow factor, and creates a stunning visual impact. Wafer paper flowers are growing ever popular as they are so versatile, and easy to manipulate and create. You are able to create exquisite flowers in under 30 minutes without long drying times. At the end of this class you will have the ability and confidence to produce your own sharp edge cakes and flowers using wafer paper.

  • Using off the shelf products
  • Adding movement to your wafer flowers
  • Add colour and sparkle to your wafer flowers
  • Use accessories to complete you flowers
  • Attaching the finished flowers to your cake/cupcakes

This class focuses on technique, and no prior experience of working with wafer paper is required.

We teach this class using the same wafer products that are available to you, thus allowing us to show you what you need to do at home as we want you to master the techniques being taught. By doing this it allows you to take home a beautifully decorated show pieces which is perfect for either eating or using as a display piece to show off to your family or prospective customers.

Each student is given packs of wafer paper and templates to take home with them at the end of the class

Classes run from 10:00 until approximately 15:30. Refreshments and a light-lunch are included. Classes cost £70 per person and are fully inclusive of all ingredients and tools. Online booking is available, please see the list of classes available to the right.
