Wedding

A couples wedding day is a day of lifetime dreams fulfilled – but it is also a day full of pressures. So when it comes time for that sweet, final symbol of the wedding feast itself – the wedding cake – the pressure is also on for the person entrusted to make that special confection. We will assist from concept and design to delivery and staging. At The Nuthouse Bakery we believe your cakes should not only look sensational but taste so too, therefore our cakes are baked fresh to order.

Our cakes are made to order so each individual cake will be quoted accordingly based on size, theme and decorations at time of enquiry

Prices
All our round cakes are baked and decorated to be approximately 5” in height depending on design. Squares are baked and decorated to approximately 4” in height. Our cakes are layered and filled with either buttercream or chocolate ganache, coated in Belgium white or milk chocolate ganache and covered with a professional fondant.

Our cakes are made to order so each individual cake will be quoted accordingly based on size, theme and decorations at time of enquiry.

Fruit Cake
Our fruit cakes are cutting cakes are baked to be approximately 2” to 2.5” in height. For taller cakes please contact us.

Kitchen/Cutting Cake 
This is a fabulous way of keeping the cost of your wedding cake down to a minimum.  We are able to provide a single round or square cake split and filled with buttercream/chocolate ganache and jam/curd etc. at a lower cost as they are not covered or contain decorations. These are housed in the kitchen and cut up and served to guests where additional slices are required. They can only be ordered if a 3 tier cake or larger has been ordered with The Nuthouse Bakery.

All cake orders must be paid in full prior to delivery or collection. We require a 20% deposit to be paid prior to commencing work on your cake, with the balance to be paid by an agreed date.

Cupcakes 
We are happy to provide cupcakes subject to a minimum order of 12 cupcakes per flavour required. Please contact us for a quote.

Wedding cakes take approximate 40 hours of work to create; great time and preparation is taken with them. I ask that you get in touch as early as possible to prevent disappointment. I am able to offer delivery and staging of cakes for a reasonable charge, or alternatively you can collect from our premises in Dudley, West Midlands.
